Scroll

There’s a black notch at the top of your screen. Pro Notch gives it a job.

01The tour

This is the real thing.

Every panel below is captured from Pro Notch itself. Scroll through a day with it.

01Music

Your music, live in the notch.

Album art, scrubbing and playback, a switch for AirPods and speakers, and synced lyrics. Spotify, Apple Music and your browser.

02Calendar

Your day, one hover away.

Today’s events and the meeting that’s on now, with a Day and a Week view.

03Meetings

Join the call in one click.

A countdown before it starts, then a Join button for Zoom, Meet, Teams, Webex and FaceTime.

04Coding agents

Know when it needs you.

Claude Code and Codex at work: what they’re doing, when they need a yes, and when they’re done.

05Timer

Time, at a glance.

Start one from the notch or the menu bar. It keeps counting while your Mac sleeps.

06AirPods

Battery, the moment they connect.

Each bud and the case, next to a 3D model of your pair.

02And there’s more

Small when it’s quiet.
Big when it matters.

Synced lyrics

The line being sung, right in the notch.

Every display

A notch or Dynamic Island anywhere.

0.07%

CPU at idle

Quiet enough to forget it’s there.

03For developers

Know when your
agent needs you.

While Claude Code or Codex works, the notch shows what it’s doing. When it needs a yes, or it’s done, you’ll know without switching windows.

Read from the transcript. “Editing router.ts”, “Run the tests”. Pro Notch reads the agent’s own transcript as it writes it, never polled.

Your next prompt, ready. Type in the notch while the agent works. It goes in the moment the turn ends.

One click to set up. Small hooks go in next to yours, and your settings are backed up first. They talk over a local socket, in about 12 ms.

04Performance

Quiet by design.

Battery drain is the first reason people delete a notch app. So we measured.

0.07%

CPU at idle

0.3%

CPU while music plays

23MB

Memory at idle

Measured on a MacBook Pro with M5 Pro, release build: CPU time over 30 s at idle and 15 s with music playing.

Made to disappear into your Mac.

No Dock icon, no window to manage. It sits in the notch and wakes up when something happens.

05Privacy

Private by design.

No account, no tracking

No sign-in, no analytics, no telemetry. Pro Notch works offline.

One thing reaches out

Lyrics send the song title and artist to LRCLIB to fetch the synced words. Turn lyrics off and nothing does.

Agents stay local

Claude Code and Codex talk to Pro Notch over a socket only you can read.

07FAQ

Before you ask.

01Will it drain my battery?

No. At idle Pro Notch uses about 0.07% CPU and 23 MB of memory. It follows the pointer quickly only while it moves near the notch, slows down when it rests, and almost stops while your displays sleep.

02Does it work on Macs without a notch?

Yes. On displays without one it shows a virtual notch or a Dynamic Island at the top center, on one display or all of them. You pick the shape per display.

03Which music apps work?

Anything macOS sees as Now Playing: Spotify, Apple Music, podcasts, and music or video in your browser. No extra permissions are needed for that.

04Is it a subscription?

No. You pay 12.99€ once.

05Will it cover my menus?

No. Clicks pass through everywhere except the notch itself, and it only opens when you rest the pointer on it or click it. The delay is yours to set.

06How do Claude Code and Codex connect?

In Settings, Coding Agents, click Connect. Pro Notch adds its hooks next to the ones you already have and saves a backup of your settings file first. Codex asks you to trust new hooks once with /hooks.

07How do I get the app?

Download it and try everything free for 3 days, no account needed. When you buy, your license key arrives by email within a minute. Paste it in Settings, License.

08What happens when the trial ends?

The notch goes plain until you enter a key. Your settings stay. Lost your key? Have it sent again.

09Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days, no questions asked. See license, refunds & privacy.
